A medieval survival horror game where you are the King, trapped inside your own castle after revolting peasants stormed the gates.

But those filthy peasants weren't just angry... they've become something far worse, and it wants your head on a pike.

YOU ARE HEREBY PREY

That villainous beast is thirsty for royal blood...

  • It roams the halls of the castle, searching for any living soul.
  • Hide, stay quiet, and pray it doesn't find you cowering in the dark.
  • It yields not to iron and steel. Run, and find items to aid in your survival.

DELIVERANCE OR DAMNATION

Once home to lavish feasts and sordid celebrations, the castle's walls are now a tomb of many - lowborn and nobility rotting together in the dark. And unless you find a way to get the gates open, you'll be joining them.

  • Traverse a dark, sprawling castle and solve increasingly sadistic puzzles.
  • Scavenge and use whatever you can get your hands on.
  • Do what you must to survive and escape.

The monsters move too quickly, leaving me with no chance to escape.

FINALLY FINALLY

This is one of the most interesting concept of a game I have ever seen on this site

The attention to the details is great, like the beds "inside of a big chest" (pardon my lack of skill with words, this kind of beds were a real thing at the time!) or the forks with "two teeths"

The only criticism I'll express is for the critter to be a little sticky after it founds you

For the rest, very nice demo

Love the vibes. Can't find how to progress after talking to the first knight.  He talks about a lever and can find nothing like it.

hey bro thanks for playing. there are two staircases and one allows access to the upper floors. u can get to the right one by going through the storage room (with the knight faceplanted on the table) then turning right at the hallway and then theres a doorway to it. then you "burn" your way up. I will be working on making this clearer as in hindsight the first floor is pretty confusing.

I think there is a problem with the games dialogue but I'm sure of it...any ideas?

Hi, thanks so much for bringing this bug to my attention. It should now be fixed in the new version I just put out.

Wha-

What's going on?

Hey again! I played the game and the atmosphere in this game was superb! I have a question though, are the flesh walls supposed to move? They are definitely unnerving but some of them are in spots that block progress. Is there any way to make them move?

Hey, thanks for playing! The flesh walls are permanent obstacles and some block paths with alternate routes, others mark map boundaries. Can you remember which section/floor you were in? I might have to reconsider their placements

The first two where you meet Geoffery are fine, but the ones on the stairs block both going up and going down. I walked around the first floor for anything of importance 3 times and I couldn't find anything of note to help me get to the next floor. Maybe I am just clueless though haha

Whenever I try to download the files it says "No compatible download available." Not sure how to fix this.

Game looks sick from the screenshots though, I love the medieval horror vibe you got going on here.

Ohh I forgot to mark a platform for the file, thanks a lot for reminding me. If you're on mac, there should be a mac build out in the next couple days after I do some testing

No problem! I'm on windows so everything's good on my side. Looking forward to playing
